How much $$ did I earn in February 2024? Developing app for Medium.
As a Friend Of Medium, I can earn here a lot more than Iāve expected! New Google extension for managing Medium earnings.

Iāve been writing on Medium for a year. On February 2024 I got my first 1k views and turned on Medium Partners Program(detailed earning at the end of the article).
That is my first month when I started earning!

Here are changes stats what Iāve already got for February:
- Articles published: +7
- Subscribers: +169
- Email subscribers: + 8
What strategy did I use this February?
- Publishing in different publications: published 7 articles in 7 different publications.
Did it work? Not really.
I found that some articles helped me gain more followers without much effort, but others didnāt get noticed much. Now, Iām trying to figure out what type of content works best for each site so I can get more people interested in following me.
- Mass following: Yeah, I know. This NOT the greatest strategy, but my goal on that was just to have at least 1k subscribers for my account to looks better.
Did it work? Yes!
The amount of subscribers I increased, but most of them are NOT the subscribers that like my content, they subscribe because I subsribed.
- Commenting on other writerās articles: frankly, I did it just a couple of times, sometime I just really liked the article and decided to leave a comment.
Did it work? Yes!
Each time I got some great comment or clap back. Love it!
What about earnings?
When I started writing on Medium 1 year ago, I didnāt think about earning, but now I really see some opportunity on earnings here. So, $27 for 7 articles sounds a lot more than I have expected!
Why is that a lot?
I have a friend whoās been making YouTube videos for about a year now and earns around $100 per month from it. Making videos takes up a lot of time. Knowing that, I didnāt expect to earn much from Medium.
Precise earnings stats:
Unfortunately, Medium didnāt give many stats to analyse deeply earnings, to look for the best strategy based on personal data.
Here are the stats that I pull from Medium and connect into a graph. This way, I got information on which articles earned the max amount of money daily.
This project I am developing now and here is the first version:

To sum up:
- The most viewed articles are articles on more specific topics and better to connect two technologies and write an article then write article on one specific topic.
- To earn on Medium, you should clap/write comments/highlight.
- I got a personal point here that I want to prove.
- After writing on Medium for a year, I also bought Friends of Medium this month.
